In June 18th, Tzu Chi Temple gate ruins in Peking University Weiming Lake are full of “Wishing Messages.” This two-meter-hight arched doors and outside walls, as well as roofs are full of graffiti by tourists. Wishing messages written in chalk, pen, black pen and white correction fluid covered the wall. Compared with normal monotony of “I visited here,” the words are more like a wishing message such as “I want to be enrolled in Peking University 9 years latter” etc
Tzu Chi Temple is also known as flower god’s temple. It was built in Qing period and destroyed at the end of Qing. The rebuilt temple gate is the only building that still exists.
