Taiwan panda Yuanyuan given by mainland gave birth to a panda baby Yuanzai on July 6. When Yuanyuan being a mother for the first time picked up her daughter Yuanzai, the panda baby one paw was hurt because her mother’s action was not enough skilled. In order to help Yuanyuan defecation, panda mother Yuanyuan would keep licking Yuanzai’s body, which makes the wound easily crack. As a consequences, Yuanzai was taken care by nursery governess temporarily.
Under the nurse’s good care, Yuanzai’s weighter is over 1643.6 g. On August 12, mother Yuanyuan met with her daughter Yuanzai and Yuanyuan kissed Yuanzai with her tongue even they were separated by cage. On August 13, Taipei Zoo announced that Yuanyuan itself took care of her daughter Yuanzai and Yuanzai drank the breast milk.
